How Your Matchy Order Comes to Life 💌

At Matchy, your order isn’t pulled from a warehouse. It’s made, packed and sent by our small team each week.

To keep things running smoothly (and to give each order the care it deserves), we now work to a weekly schedule:

MONDAY

Quilting & Cutting

We start the week by cutting fabrics and quilting your Matchy pieces.

TUESDAY

Assembly & Finishing

Your pieces are sewn together, finished and checked to make sure everything is just right.

WEDNESDAY

Packing & Shipping 📦

This is our shipping day! Orders that have been completed during the week are carefully packed and sent out.

All orders are shipped on the following Wednesday, with the exception of hardcover Kindle cases and pyjamas, which follow their own daily dispatch schedule.

What does this mean for your order?

When you place an order with us, please allow for it to be shipped on the following Wednesday.

For example:

Order Monday → Ships the following Wednesday
Order Thursday → Ships the following Wednesday

This means there may be a few days between placing your order and receiving your shipping notification — and that's completely normal!

We know you’re excited to receive your Matchy order, and we promise we’re not sitting on it. Your order is moving through our little weekly production rhythm before it makes its way to you.

Why do we work this way?

Matchy is a small business, and keeping our production organised into dedicated days means we can focus properly on each part of the process — from cutting and quilting your fabric to carefully packing your finished order.

It also means we can continue making things in small batches, with lots of care, rather than rushing your order through.
